famous personality
Shah Abdul Hamid is one of the famous personalities of Gaibandha district . He was born in Gobindaganj Upazila under Gaibandha district in 1900. He was the first speaker of the parliament of East Bengal(Independent Bangladesh). The stadium of Gaibandha is named after his name Shah Abdul Hamid Stadium.
